INCODEL is seeking a mid to senior level Sales/Applications Engineer with experience in the following areas:
Sales
- Responsible for identifying new sales opportunities
- Pitch product and capabilities to potential customers
- Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and respond to customer RFQs
- Identify cost improvement opportunities
Purchasing
- Identify and benchmark suppliers for new programs
- Monitor and report targets and overall supplier status including timing, cost, capacity, logistics, PSW/PPAP.
- Track and report current price trends, market conditions, tariff impacts, product delivery issues and lead-times for all key raw materials
- Develop purchasing strategy for assigned commodities and sourcing projects
- Negotiate with suppliers to reduce costs through use of cost breakdown analysis
- Improve working capital drivers including lead times, payment terms and MOQ’s
Engineering
- Interface directly with customers
- Collect and help define customer needs for successful product applications
- Follow internal and customer APQP processes
- Collaborate to supply control plans, PPAP, PFMEA, DFMEA, etc.
- Technical resource internally and for customers on product related matters
- Facilitate component designs and modifications for continuing product improvement
- Support the sales process with sales / training tools and product development / enhancement
- Continually monitor market landscape for competitive product launches, innovation interests, and other trends
- Support of engineering development activities, sales support and customer applications development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or other related field
- At least 3 years automotive industry experience is strong preferred
