INCODEL Bonded Distribution Center, Inc., Named as Bonded Warehouse by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP)

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has approved an INCODEL strategic business unit, INCODEL Bonded Distribution Center, Inc., as a Customs Bonded Warehouse.

A Customs Bonded Warehouse is defined by the U.S. Government as a building or other secured area in which imported dutiable merchandise may be stored, manipulated, or undergo manufacturing operations without payment of duty for up to 5 years from the date of importation. This means that customers can safely and securely store and/or manipulate bonded goods, via services such as re-packing and sub-assembly, at INCODEL Bonded Distribution Center until they are ready to be transported to their next destination, thus reducing the time and cost associated with freight at the port.

Strategically located by Detroit Metro Airport (DTW) in Romulus, Mich., INCODEL's strategic business units will provide import deconsolidation, export consolidation, cross docking/transloading, drayage, filing of manifests, import/export declarations, and other services.
